The High Plains Drifters (HPD), an Affiliate of the Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF), was formed by a few dedicated fly fishing enthusiasts in March 1991. We meet monthly and attempt to provide fishing and educational opportunities to our members.
The HPD Goals are:

| Promote Friendliness and Fellowship Among Fellow Fly Fishers. |
| Promote Catch and Release Fishing. |
| Support the Goals of the Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF). |
General MEETINGS are monthly on the third Tuesday of every month, except July and December.
